NYC BREAK: C. WONDER

I'm on a two day stop in NYC before driving down to see family in Virginia for Thanksgiving week. And while there are the obvious must-sees (Bergdorf on the list for this afternoon) and must-eats (last night was soul food at Harlem haunt Sylvia's; this morning was banana and walnut pancakes at Good Enough to Eat), I'll admit I'm clueless when it comes to new spots to try.

Luckily I'm here visiting a friend in the know, who turned me onto C. Wonder in Soho. A month old, it's been circling the blogs—and for good reason. Owned by Tory Burch's ex, Christopher, it's total pink-and-green prep... Perfect for my recent need to inject a little color into our flat. And with prices in the $18-$200 range, why not? I came a way with a green and navy lacquer tray for $68 that will look right at home in our white and black-blue bedroom (now I just need to figure out how to get it on the plane!).
